Nestled in the calm beauty of Sri Lanka’s southern coast, our boutique hotel invites you to slow down, reconnect, and reset.

This 3-day retreat is designed as a gentle yet energizing escape — combining daily yoga, nourishing food, and the quiet luxury of tropical living.

With only 8 spots available, this is an intentionally intimate experience.

DAILY FLOW

Each day is designed to create balance:

Morning

  • Fiery, energising yoga practice
    (to awaken the body and build vitality)

Afternoon

  • Free time to enjoy the hotel, pool, or surroundings + one workshop of 120 minutes (Yoga philosophy, wholesome nutrition, kundalini…)

Evening

  • Yin yoga & guided healing meditation
    (deep relaxation, nervous system reset)

ABOUT THE PRACTICES

Sessions are guided by Natasha, a practitioner rooted in:

  • Yin Yoga

  • Kundalini-inspired practices

  • Meditation & breath-work

  • Energy-based healing modalities

Her approach is gentle, intuitive, and accessible to all levels, creating a safe space to unwind and reconnect.

    🌿 Day 1 — Thursday, 29 May

    Arrival & settling in

    • By 11:00 – Arrival & check-in

    • 12:00 – Light lunch

    • 13:00 – Opening circle

    • 16:45 – 18:00 – Evening yoga (yin & grounding practice)

    • 19:30 – Dinner

    A gentle start to ease into the space and the rhythm of the retreat.

    🌿 Day 2 — Friday, 30 May

    Full retreat day

    • 07:00 – 08:15 – Morning yoga (energizing practice)

    • 08:30 – Breakfast

    • Morning at leisure

    • 11:00 – Workshop session (timing adapted with the group)

    • 13:00 – Light lunch

    • Afternoon at leisure

    • 16:45 – 18:00 – Evening yoga (yin & relaxation)

    • 19:30 – Dinner

    A balanced day with movement, rest, and time to enjoy the surroundings.

    🌿 Day 3 — Saturday, 31 May

    Closing & departure

    • 07:00 – 08:15 – Morning yoga

    • 08:30 – Breakfast

    • Morning at leisure

    • 11:00 – Closing circle

    • 12:30 – Light lunch

    • By 15:00 – Check-out & departures

Hosted in our boutique hotel, this retreat is as much about the space as it is about the program.

“Gedara” means home — and that’s exactly the feeling we’ve created here.
A place where you can settle in easily, feel comfortable, and simply be.

Every detail has been designed to support rest, clarity, and ease.

The rooms themselves are a retreat.

Each of our four rooms is inspired by one of the natural elements, with its own atmosphere and character:

  • Earth – Bhumi: grounding, spacious, with a private plunge pool

  • Air – Vayu: light, open, and calming

  • Fire – Agni: warm, energising, and vibrant

  • Water – Jala: soft, cooling, and deeply relaxing

All rooms are:

  • spacious and thoughtfully designed for deep sleep and relaxation

  • enhanced with their own subtle aromatherapy profiles

  • quiet, comfortable, and intentionally simple

Beyond the rooms, the space invites you to slow down naturally.

Outdoor areas are open and relaxed — designed for:

  • reading, resting, or doing nothing at all

  • reconnecting with nature and fresh air

  • enjoying the surroundings at your own pace

Food is an important part of the experience.

Meals are:

  • fresh, balanced, and nourishing

  • designed to support energy and overall wellbeing

  • simple, wholesome, and satisfying

This is not a large resort or a busy retreat space.

It’s an exclusive, considered setting where you can feel at home from the moment you arrive.

    • 3 days and 2 nights at Gedara (shared double room)

    • Daily yoga sessions (morning & evening) + one opening and one closing ceremony

    • Guided meditation & breath-work sessions

    • One workshop of 120 minutes

    • Breakfast, light lunch & dinner on a set menu basis

    • Tea & water throughout the retreat

  • €350 per person

  • To confirm your spot, a 75% deposit of the total retreat price is required at the time of booking.

    Payment Terms

    • 75% deposit (€262.50) — due at booking (non-refundable)

    • Remaining 25% balance (€87.50) — due 7 days before the retreat start date

    Cancellation Policy

    • The 75% deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances, as it secures your place in this limited-capacity retreat.

    • The remaining 25% balance is refundable only if:

      • the cancellation is made more than 3 days before the retreat start date, and

      • a valid reason is provided (e.g. illness, travel disruption, emergency)

    • Cancellations made within 3 days of the retreat start date are non-refundable in full.

    Additional Notes

    • Bookings are non-transferable unless agreed in advance

    • In the unlikely event that the retreat is cancelled by us, a full refund of all payments made will be issued
